Home Internationals

All members of Northern Counties wish The Scottish Team a huge success at The Home Internationals being played at Dunbar Golf Club from 12 - 14 September 2007. Kelsey MacDonald is in the team and the last time Scotland won this Trophy, in 1991, Isobel McIntosh was the Captain.

New of the Juniors

Kelsey MacDonald has just been awarded her first full Scottish Cap and we are all so proud of her. Kelsey was a member of the Winning Junior Girls Home International Team and also in Belgium.

Sammy Vass was named as reserve in 2 Girls Scottish teams and we feel it won't be long till she is 'promoted'. Well done to Sammy.

Earlier this month 4 of our Junior Girls attended a training day with the National Coach, Kevin Craggs in Stirling, one of the reasons the numbers were down for the north of Scotland Girls Championship at Thurso. The girls who went were Hannah McCook, Aimee Taylor, Hannah Mackay and Julie Vass. I have heard from Aimee and Hannah McCook, and they had a great time.

Kelsey MacDonald is Northern Counties Girls Champion and Chloe Macleod is Girls Handicap Champion, so well done to them both.
